When not all the books in the series are the same height.

When books change covers with editions so they don’t all match unless you buy the series in one go.

When some books are hardcover and some are softcover and it doesn’t match but you can’t find another copy.

When some covers are different in certain countries so you don’t get the main one which also happens to look better than all the other varieties.

Basically just books.

God damn them.

Guys just know that this is a side-blog of mine, so if I post other things on here, it’s a mistake which I’ll fix once I realise. Just ignore those posts until I can delete them, though I don’t anticipate it happening anytime soon since I rarely reblog Iron Fey on my phone (since I barely see any Iron Fey on my dash - I have to go to the tags because there just isn’t enough Iron Fey on tumblr yet for it to pop up as often as with other fandoms.)

But yeah, if you ever see my reblogging other things, just pop me ask and be like ‘Hey, you’re posting other fandoms again’ and I’ll be like ‘Oops, thanks for notifying me’ when I see the message. And you don’t have to be on anon. I won’t post anon messages like that onto the blog in the future. It’s weird and makes no sense once I’ve deleted the rest. It’s an odd interruption in the Iron Fey stuff, so yeah.

We wants to have this book be a success with the traditional comic book fan. They are trying to hit a new demographic with this comic book series focusing on the reluctant reader as well as the female fan base.

Graphic novels have grown in popularity and are no longer viewed as lightweight reading. In fact, I point to comics as the impetus that made me a better reader. As a child, I was a poor student and poor reader; as such, I avoided books. Then I began to read comics. Comics improved my vocabulary, my reading confidence and instilled a life-long love for books. For me, comics were the gateway that opened up a whole world of literature.

We are about $905 shy of hitting our goal. If you donate in the next 64 hours – you free limited edition of #1 and one of the animated comic books. Those have donated to our $10,000 goal already – I thank you so much. This project is very personal to me and you helped get us there!
