Now reading The Iron King, the first book from the series The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa.
Hope you enjoy!
"My name is Ashallyn’darkmyr Tallyn, third son of the Unseelie Court…Let it be known—from this day forth, I vow to protect Meghan Chase, daughter of the Summer King, with my sword, my honor, and my life. Her desires are mine. Her wishes are mine. Should even the world stand against her, my blade will be at her side. And should it fail to protect her, let my own existence be forfeit. This I swear, on my honor, my True Name, and my life. From this day on…” His voice went even softer, but I still heard it as though he whispered it into my ear. “I am yours."

Let’s say - Square Enix?
I’ve just finished the last book - and I decided it would be very interesting if it turned into a game, especially The Iron Knight. With lots of fighting scene, The Iron Knight would definitely make a very great fighting game.
But I doubt this imagination would come true. *le sigh*
This would be so cool. I know Julie Kagawa wouldn’t hesitate to play! Haha
I’m so excited
there’s gonna be a box set of everything holy shat
omg and all the novellas are gonna be in one book and omg there’s gonna be another series
my life is complete yes
Started reading this book last night and I’m already loving it!

Puck aka Robin Goodfellow from The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa
part 1
This is just a preview of the shoot, but I wanted to let you guys have a taste of some upcoming shots from our photo shoot yesterday! ^_^
I’m currently reading The Iron Queen, and I’m getting very confused about this series.
I’ve read The Iron King, then The Iron Daughter, and now I’m about 100 pages into this book. And after this is The Iron Knight, but is that the 4th book in the series, or a separate, companion novel, or…? And if it is apart of the original Iron Fey series, is it the final book in the series? I figure I should probably actually finish The Iron Queen before I start asking questions, but I’m just really lost. I also know that there are at least two (maybe three actually) novellas that were originally published as e-books(?) and are now being published in one novel titled The Iron Legends… I think. And I just saw on Goodreads that a companion series about Meghan’s little brother, Ethan, is being written? Oh my god, this is all getting so complicated.
OKAY, FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND (uh, spoilers under the cut for the first two/ kind of three books):
The Iron Knight is indeed part of the first series :)
At the end of book three, it makes sense why it follows Ash, and not Meghan.
None of the novella’s/short stories are necessary to read to follow the books, but I suggest reading Winter’s Passage before reading the Iron Knight, as you meet a character in the short story who re-appears as a main character in the last book, and the encounter is briefly mentioned at his introduction (oh god, does that even make sense lol). And reading Summer’s Crossing helps you understand Puck in the last book a lot as well. The third novella was just a fluffy Ash/Meghan piece that was released for Valentines Day, and takes place after The Iron Knight. It has absolutely no importance to the plot or character development, it’s pure fluff haha. I don’t think it will be released in The Iron Legends, but if you want to read it I’m sure a lot of people saved it on their computers (I did lol) and could give it to you. I think Goodreads refers to the Iron Fey series as a trilogy because originally that is what it was supposed to be, but Julie decided last minute to do another book :)
Hope that helps~
campshadowblood asked: More people NEED to read this book ugh
Agreed! Hopefully with Ethan’s series coming out, more people will pick them up. They’re seriously amazing
Edit: Also, hopefully people will get into her Blood of Eden series. The Immortal Rules was awesome. Julie Kagawa is seriously talented with being able to twist overdone genres to make them interesting again (fey, vampires)
